Mr M Morrison - MDrama (Hons.)
The Drama Department is a dynamic and exciting place to explore and create. Students are exposed to a wide range of theatre styles from the traditional to the contemporary. We visit professional theatres frequently providing valuable opportunities for students at KS3, GCSE and A Level. Every year we produce a full school production and previous years have included ‘Grease’ and ‘Oliver!’ Drama is a very popular course at GCSE and many students go on to perform with the National Youth Theatre and take up further study on university drama courses. The Drama department is a welcoming environment where students feel free to express themselves and work with experienced and talented staff.
We work extensively with the Music and Art Department for the annual school production. The drama curriculum is very cross curricular in its nature and covers many other curriculum areas: English, Technology, Religious Studies, History, Art, Music, ICT, Physical Education and Classical Civilisation.
