    Rana: Head Girl

    Hello, I’m Rana the head girl. This is my fifth year at Upton court grammar school and my aim is to give back to the school community which has helped me grow into the independent student I am today. I currently study Maths Biology and Chemistry with the intention to pursue a career in Medicine. I will implement the schools core values and ensure every student feels welcome and happy. I hope that as a prefect I am able to bridge the gap between the different years so that Upton court is a successful environment in which students of all ages feel involved.

    Shria: Assistant Head Girl

    Hi, I’m Shria. I am studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I am one of the Assistant Head Girls and I line manage the Year prefects and provide support to my senior prefect team to promote the new UCGS values (unity, curiosity, growth, and service). My role as a prefect is to encourage and support the students in their development by providing a student level guidance to achieve their best in their subjects as well as their general development in the school community. I am a dedicated, focused and enthusiastic individual with proven interpersonal skills. I seek to help my fellow peers at most opportunities presented. I hope that, as a prefect, I will be able to encourage students in the school to help their integration and development. 

    Hanna: Assistant Head girl

    Hi, I’m Hanna; one of the assistant head girls who manages the Careers and CAS prefect teams. I am currently studying Business, English Literature and Spanish, with the intent of working for one of the leading firms in the technology sector; then going on to start my own business after.  My main aspirations are to: carry out tasks to the best of my ability, organise the team efficiently and empower others by delegating responsibility.  Essentially, I wish to ensure everybody’s voice is heard so that the school progresses further and every pupil has the chance to go beyond just academia. 

    Annalise: Deputy Head Girl

    Hello, I’m Annalise, the deputy head girl of the school. I recently joined the school in September of 2017 and I absolutely love it as I feel I have integrated really well. I study English literature, Economics and Biology and hope to go on to study English literature at university, something which I hope being a prefect will help me with. I hope to develop my leadership skills and through working as a team make the school environment enjoyable.

    Arham: Assistant Head Boy

    "Hi, my name's Arham and I'm one of the Assistant Head Boys this year. This is my fourth year at UCGS and I'm currently studying Maths, Chemistry and History for my A-Levels. I line manage the Community Prefects with the aim of organising school events and promoting unity and co-operation throughout the school. I hope to work with the SLP to set a good example for my peers and younger students, and endeavour to have a positive and lasting effect on the school community."

    Umesh: Assistant Head Boy

    Hello, I’m Umesh and I am one of the assistant head boys. Currently, I am studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I line manage the community prefects along with Arham. Having been at this school since 2012, I want to give back by helping the students reach their full potential which will hopefully contribute to the school community in a positive manner.
