    2018 GCSE & A Level Results

    Upton Court Grammar School is delighted to announce another year of outstanding GCSE and A Level results, from summer 2018.

    100% of all GCSE candidates achieved 5 or more passes between A*-C/9-4.

    58% of all GCSEs awarded were grades A*/A and 9/8/7 grades, and over a third (39% of the cohort) achieved eight or more A*/A and 9/7 grades.

     

    The new numerical grading system has introduced a new top grade 9, equivalent to a top A* grade; 29% of all chemistry students and 25% of all English literature students achieved this outstanding result.

    At A Level, the majority of all qualifications awarded scored A* to B, with sixteen students achieving straight A* and A grades in all subjects.
